“A first report is expected in two to three weeks” as announced.
The accident occurred in the early hours of last Saturday and the victim was a staff member of Piedmont Airlines, a subsidiary of the American Airlines group. At the moment, the exact circumstances under which he died remain unclear.
“We are saddened to learn of the tragic loss of an AA/Piedmont Airlines team member. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time,” said Wade A Davis, the airport’s executive director, in a statement.
