“Shocked by the horrific executions of protesters in Iran. I will call Iran’s ambassador to underline serious concerns, while calling on EU member states to do the same,” the Dutch foreign minister wrote on Twitter.
The Dutch government will call the ambassador of Iran in the country, for the second time in a month, in order to express its deep concerns about the execution of demonstrators, as Dutch Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra said today Saturday.
“Shocked by the horrific executions of protesters in Iran. I will call the Iranian ambassador to highlight serious concerns, while calling on EU member states to do the same,” he wrote in a post on Twitter.
Appalled by the horrible executions of demonstrators in #Iran. I will summon the Iranian ambassador to underline our serious concerns and I call upon EU Member States to do the same. 1/2

Iran today hanged two men accused of killing a member of the security forces during the protests that took place in the country after the death of 22-year-old Iranian woman from Kurdistan Makhsa Amini on September 16, 2022.
Hoekstra said these actions dictate the need for enforcement harsher penalties against Iran by the European Union, compared to those considered during the current period.
The Netherlands had also summoned Iran’s ambassador to The Hague last month to protest the execution of protesters in Iran.
