According to the latest official information, at least five people died in the bombing of the apartment building and another 27 were injured, including six children.
Russian missiles hit critical infrastructure in Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Lviv provinces in the eastern and western parts of the country respectively, local officials said.
The mayor of Kyiv said that explosions could be heard in the capital and that air defenses were in operation.
