At least 16 people, including Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky and 2 childrendied, while 22 were taken to the hospital after the helicopter crashed this morning near Kyiv, in the town of Brovary.
According to the police statement among the dead were 42-year-old Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky, 42-year-old Deputy Interior Minister Yevhen Yenin and Deputy Interior Minister Yuriy Lubkovych.

According to images posted on social media, a huge fire broke out after the helicopter crashed.
There is currently no other information about the accident.
The helicopter that crashed belonged to the public service for emergency situations, which is under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force.
