The new Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, has already given the keys to the asylum to a handful of lunatics. Taylor Greene, to this day, was the most visible propagator of QAnon conspiracies such as “Obama is Muslim” and “no planes crashed into the Pentagon in the 9/11 attacks”.
Another colleague of the deputy on the Committee on Homeland Security, who, like her, was banned from accessing any committee in the last legislature, for inciting violence against Democratic deputies, is dentist Paul Gosar, whose idea of protecting national security is to immediately pardon to the nearly thousand indicted for the terrorist attack on the Capitol in 2021. “It would just be a good start”, explained the Arizona legislator.
