Poland’s prime minister announced today that he has asked intelligence services to investigate the rescue of three divers in the Baltic Sea near the port of Gdansk.

On the night of Sunday to Monday, the three men sent a distress call today, after their boat was damaged. They were rescued by the Polish coast guard.

They stated that they were Spanish and were looking for amber.

According to Polish media, only one of them had identity documents.

After being checked by the police, they were released.

Shortly afterwards, the mobile phones they had registered turned out to be inactive.
