Mustafa Sedop: Western countries should stop insulting people’s sanctuaries

The president of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mustafa Sedop, launched an attack on Western countries, pointing out that Ankara should stop the oppression of certain countries, such as from “Northern Cyprus” to “Western Thrace”.

“Western countries should immediately put an end to this dangerous game. They should stop insulting people’s sanctuaries. They must not allow societies to be fractured. They must see that the fire that will break out will burn everyone.”

It is a responsibility and a burden imposed by our faith to address the problems of our brothers wherever they are in the world, to work to protect their rights and to fight to end the oppression they suffer from Palestine to the Rohingya (Myanmar ), from Karabakh to the Uyghur Turks, from Afghanistan to Crimea, from ‘Northern Cyprus’ to ‘Western Thrace’, from European countries to the shores of Far Asia, from America to Australia, and up to Africa”.
