The seven-story hotel, where the children were staying, along with their parents and professors from the Turkish Maarif College of Famagusta, collapsed due to the earthquake. Four members of the group managed to get out of the ruins by their own means immediately after the earthquake.
The youngest of the students found in this hotel is 14 years old.
