The ten polling stations operating in seven locations in six cities in Britain opened their polls at 8am local time, that is at 10am in Cyprus and Greece, for the second round of the Cypriot presidential elections.

A total of 3,628 voters have registered to vote at the Cyprus High Commission and the Cyprus Community Center in London and at Greek Orthodox churches in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds and Bristol.

The party staffs who closely monitor the process estimate that, as on the first Sunday, the flow of voters will be denser from midday, when the Divine Liturgy in the churches will be finished.

On the first Sunday, no notable problems were reported, while the turnout reached 73% (2,672 out of 3,628 registered voters voted).
