“We will continue to support her Ukraine for as long as necessary”, Olaf Solz repeated today from the podium of the Munich Security Conference, stressing at the same time that “we must be prepared for a long war”

The German chancellor he called on all those who can, to deliver tanks to Ukraine as soon as possible and, addressing Moscow, said that “revisionism cannot be accepted”.

“Ukraine is more united than ever and Europe stands behind Ukraine’s EU membership,” stressed Mr Solz, who spoke right after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky declared that “there is no alternative to our victory” and again called for more military support from the West.

“The sooner the Putin “The more he realizes that his imperialist worldview will not win, the more likely it is that the war will end soon,” Scholz added, stressing that “weapons deliveries from the West will not prolong the war – on the contrary.”

However, the chancellor clarified once again that the Germany, which, as he pointed out, is now Ukraine’s largest supplier of military equipment in continental Europe, will not proceed alone, but always in coordination with its partners and allies, while, especially for the possibility of delivery of fighter jets, he said that “it is not on the table” and that attention should be paid to the implementation of the decisions already taken. With an eye on countries that are reluctant to send tanks to Ukraine, Olaf Solz said that “those who can procure such tanks should do so in practice.”

However, the chancellor repeatedly expressed the belief that the support to Ukraine will continue, as will the corresponding support from the citizens’ side and stated that “Putin never expected this unity and this solidarity”. He made special mention of the “strong alliance” with the USA.
