Course support in Ukraine was held in Belgrade on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of the beginning of the Russian invasion. Ukrainians who found refuge in Serbia, Russian anti-regime activists, activists of human rights organizations and diplomatic representatives of foreign embassies took part in the march organized by the Ukrainian embassy.

From the parliamentary parties only the MPs of the Ecologist-Left coalition participated. The participation of citizens was very small and the march did not have the massiveness that the pro-Russia and Putin rallies that are organized at regular intervals in Belgrade usually have. Activists of anti-war organizations placed a cake with a skull in it outside the entrance of the Russian embassy in Belgrade.

There was no announcement from the political leadership of Serbia on the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Also, the pro-government media silenced the news that Serbia voted yesterday in the General Assembly of UN the resolution on the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. It is noted that Serbia refuses to impose sanctions on Russia and to comply with the foreign policy of the European Union.

In Kosovo support for Ukraine was expressed with special session of Parliamentwhile the capital Pristina and other cities were decorated with Ukrainian flags
