Famed actress Gwyneth Paltrow denied in court testimony that she was responsible for the 2016 injury to a man on a ski slope in Utah that left the man seriously injured, and subsequently filed a lawsuit against the actress.

76-year-old Terry Sanderson has filed a lawsuit against Gwyneth Paltrow, accusing her of causing the accident and seeking $300,000 in damages. He claims that her recklessness caused the accident and that the injuries she caused him significantly affected his life. The actress responded by filing a lawsuit as well, with which she claims one million dollars.

In her testimony, which lasted two hours, Gwyneth Paltrow claimed that Terry Anderson fell on her while she was going down the slope.

“I was skiing and two boots got between mine, separating my legs, a body was pressing me and a strange moaning was heard,” Paltrow described. “My brain was trying to figure out what was going on. I thought, “Is this a prank? Is someone trying to do something perverted? This is really very strange”. completed.

Anderson and his lawyers have presented a different version, claiming that the actress lost control while skiing and fell on him, “throwing him down, causing him brain damagefour broken ribs and other serious injuries.”

For her part, 50-year-old Gwyneth Paltrow testified in court yesterday, on the fourth day of the trial, that the accident caused pain in her knee. She denied ever engaging in “dangerous behaviour” on a ski slope, which she said she was already familiar with. He also noted that he was skiing as he normally would. “I wouldn’t engage in dangerous behavior with or without my kids there.” pointed out.

When asked if she is an “aggressive” skier she said no and said the slope was full of families. According to Paltrow, Sanderson fell directly into her while skiing. She said this happened while he was moving slowly behind her.

“I said ‘you came straight at me’ cursing and he said ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry'”, the actress testified, adding that she was yelling at him. “I was quite upset,” she added.

Paltrow received several questions from Sanderson’s lawyers about her behavior after the collision and why she was yelling. “I felt violated. I was agitated. I was worried about my knee. It felt like a violation to have someone press their body against my back and I’m sorry I cursed”he replied.

When asked if he asked Sanderson about his injuries, he said: “You have to keep in mind that when you’re the victim of an accident … your psychology is not necessarily to think about the person who caused it,” he added, adding that he believed his injuries were very minor at the time.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s trial will continue on Monday, when 76-year-old Terry Sanderson is expected to testify.
