28-year-old transgender Audrey Hale was armed with two assault rifles and a revolver when she stormed the school – where she herself had attended as a child. (See here the video document from the moment of the invasion).

Hale was neutralized on the second floor of the school, in what looks like an atrium or living room.

The motive remains unknown, but Audrey Hale may have harbored a “grudge” against the school she attended, Nashville Police Chief John Drake said.
