A 26-year-old woman in Miami had a frightening moment when a man she did not know attacked her to strangle her with a string while waiting at a bus stop near the International Airport on January 2, according to the Daily Mail.
Video shows 27-year-old actor Aaron Quinones – who appears to be heading to or from the airport with a neck pillow resting on his backpack – walking quietly behind her before reaching out to wrap a makeshift noose around her neck.
The woman tries to turn her head back to see him while he squeezes her, dragging her to the side and climbing on her. The woman hit him repeatedly in the face until the moment when a … good Samaritan appears and pulls the perpetrator, saving the girl from certain death.
“If it had not been for a good Samaritan who effectively prevented this person from attacking the victim, the result would have been much worse,” said a Miami police officer.
Aaron Quinones has been charged with attempted murder.
