Election shots with the new unmanned aircraft KIZILELMA and his son-in-law Tayyip Erdogan to present it, saw the light of day as reported by SKAI’s Istanbul correspondent Manolis Kostidis.

Erdogan’s son-in-law, Selcuk Bayraktar, announced the completion of a new test flight at a higher altitude, and with a longer duration. The unmanned fighter target is to be handed over to the Turkish air force in 2024.

At the same time, however, inflation in the neighborhood is galloping. The opposition’s protest against inflation was also revealing.

As Bahadir Erdem, vice-president of the Good Party, said “what is our biggest bill? 200 pounds. While a kilo of minced meat costs 250 pounds! In other words, Turkey’s biggest banknote cannot buy a kilo of minced meat! The citizen cannot buy a kilo of minced meat, with the largest banknote! They tell us about an independent economy! Leave these! What did the AKP (ruling party) do for the independent economy? Let’s put all animosities aside. The people are drowning, the people are fed up, they shake everything off. People are tired of the presidential system and the discussions about the others. Go explain them to the tormented world.’

“Drones are nice, but there is also this reality which worries many citizens” said Manolis Kostidis. “It used to be that with 200 pounds you went out and you were at peace,” he added. “We’ll see who won, the drone or the mincemeat’ he jokingly reported the day after the Turkish election. “Whenever Turkey receives the new drone in 2024, Greece will have received the new Rafale and F-16 Viper” he reminded.
