The British King visited an organic farm in Brandenburg, which produces vegetables, dairy, meat and sausages according to strict organic standards
With a visit to the church of Agios Nikolaos in Hamburg will close today the three-day official visit to Germany King Charles.
This is a highly symbolic move as the church is a monument dedicated to the victims of the Second World War and in particular to the 42,600 dead from the British-American bombings of 1943, in the context of the “Gomorrah” operation.
However, yesterday, after his historic speech in the German Parliament, Mr Charles – known for his ecological sensibilities – took the opportunity for… ecotourism of a few hours.
The British King visited an ecological farm in Brandenburg, which produces vegetables, dairy, meat and sausages according to strict organic standards.
At the Brodowin farm, 74-year-old Charles chatted with employees and workers, toured the premises while taking part in the production process of an orange-coloured cheese similar to British cheddar.
