The 5-year-old daughter accessed her mother’s cell phone during a car ride
A mother from Massachusetts was shocked when she suddenly saw parcels with Amazon orders worth thousands of dollars arrive at her doorstep, as reported by the American CNN.
But who had made the order? But of course, her 5-year-old daughter Lila, who had access to her mother’s cell phone during a car ride.
5-year-old Lila Varisco told the cameras that she bought 10 motorcycles “because I wanted one.”

“He ordered five pink motorcycles, five blue motorcycles, 10 pairs of cowboy boots and a Jeep,” said the girl’s mom, Jessica Nunes, who had no idea about the order herself — all thanks to Amazon.
“You just push the yellow button and you push the brown button,” the 5-year-old said.
Her mother said she remembers giving Lila her phone to play some games in the car, or so she thought. “I had looked back at that moment. It was around 9:30, right when we were in the car,” her mother points out. “The bikes and jeep came out costing $3,180, while the boots alone were about $600”
Of course, thanks to Amazon’s two-day shipping, Lila’s orders arrived in no time.
“We actually couldn’t return them but I called Amazon at two in the morning and said, ‘Please, is there anything we can do?'” says Jessica Nunes.
They finally obliged and sent the return labels so the mother of the 5-year-old could cancel the cowboy boots before they left the warehouse. “We still have a giant two-seater Jeep coming as well, and I couldn’t cancel the order, but they’ll let me return it,” Jessica Nunes said.
Lila’s mother uses this incident as a teaching moment and not as a punishment. “I told her that maybe if she behaves herself and does some chores around the house, we can get her a bike that’s more age-appropriate, a little slower,” her mother said.
