Behind closed doors, and without direct connections, the unprecedented in history process of indicting the Donald Trump. Trump’s trial is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. (Greece time).

The 45th president of the United States will today be in front of the prosecutor’s office to be read the indictment which for now remains well sealed. In New York for the last 24 hours 35,000 police officers have been recruited, as there are fears of incidents from Trump supporters.

The judge presiding over Donald Trump’s arraignment in a Manhattan court has denied a request by several media outlets to cover the proceedings live, according to court documents.

The New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan ruled that the court would allow a “limited number” of videographers, photographers and radio station reporters to be present, but rejected a proposal to allow live television/press coverage or send photos during the court session.

Five photographers representing all the media will be available for photos, but several minutes before the hearing begins.

“The use of mobile phones, laptops or any electronic devices will be strictly prohibited in courtrooms. Any such devices should be turned off and secured out of public view in courtrooms,” Mercan emphasized.

“Never in US history have charges been brought against a sitting or former president,” Merchan said in his ruling, noting that the process has generated “unprecedented public interest and media attention.”

Trump’s lawyers had asked the judge to deny the press groups’ request, noting that it would create “an atmosphere that it looks like a circus.”

The indictment allegedly includes more than 30 categories and at least one felony count involving bribing porn star Stormy Daniels just before the 2016 presidential election not to talk about their encounter.
