These grants will boost the creativity and innovation of PhD researchers who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training and international, interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral mobility
Today, April 12, the European Commission published a new call for proposals for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA) 2023. These grants, amounting to €260.5 million, will boost the creativity and innovation of researchers who hold a PhD and wish to acquire new skills through advanced training and international, interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral mobility. The call will enable institutions around the world, such as leading universities, research centers, public and private organizations and medium-sized enterprises, to attract talented researchers. More than 1,200 projects are expected to be financed through the announcement. Applications are accepted until September 13, 2023.
Mrs Marie Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth said: “The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships provide a unique opportunity for postdoctoral researchers who want to broaden their horizons and strengthen their market potential work and their career prospects. I invite all eligible researchers to apply and I wish each and every one of you the best of luck. I look forward to seeing the amazing results that those selected will achieve through their work.”
The postdoctoral fellowships include two strands: The European postdoctoral fellowships are addressed to researchers of any nationality to carry out an individualized project in the EU or in countries associated with the Horizon Europe program. Global Postdoctoral Fellowships are for European nationals or long-term residents who wish to work with organizations outside of the above-mentioned countries, before returning to Europe.
