Prochaska also posted photos of himself on Twitter, writing: “It’s so hard to share a shirtless photo, but I’ve come this far. I’m 336 pounds down! Most people didn’t believe in me, but I believed in myself.”
The next step for Prochaska is to undergo the necessary cosmetic procedures in order to remove the loose skin that is present on his body. If his insurance does not cover the surgery, he said he will have to turn to an institution to cover the cost.

According to a Daily Mail report, these types of operations cost between $4,000 and $15,000 and can take weeks to months to fully heal. Risks include scarring, bleeding, bruising, swelling and infection. Also, in addition to weight, we lose muscle mass and bone density. However, severe obesity has more permanent effects.
A February study from Johns Hopkins University found that 86% of adults in the United States with type 2 diabetes were overweight or obese, as well as 62% of adults with type 1 diabetes.
