North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, as well as his father and predecessor, Kim Jong Il, used fake Brazilian passports to apply for visas to enter Western countries in the 1990s.

Then, with these fake Brazilian passports they traveled to Disneyland.

Also under the names Josef Pwag and Ijong Tchoi – the two Kims applied for visas in at least two Western countries but it is not known if the specific entry visas were ultimately issued.

According to a Brazilian security source the documents – which were issued by the Brazilian embassy in the Czech capital, Prague in 1996 – appeared to be genuine.

Additionally, in 2011, Japanese media reported that Kim Jong Un and his brother Jong Chul had entered the country to visit Tokyo Disneyland on Brazilian passports as early as 1991.
