The Minister of Interior of Turkey, Suleiman Soyluappeared early this morning on Hagia Sophia, participating in the morning prayer and ceremony on the occasion of her anniversary Aloss of Constantinople.

While the mosque was suffocatingly full of worshipers, who even rushed from dawn with its flags of Erdogan’s victory last night still in hand.

In a related post on Twitter, Soylou published photos and wrote “On the morning of the victory of the century, on the anniversary of the Fall of Constantinople, we said our morning prayer at the Hagia Sophia mosque.”

Although there are plans by Tayyip Erdogan’s campaign staff to go to Hagia Sophia to pray – the event is expected to be combined with a big fiesta from his supporters – still the Turkish President has not appeared and it is not certain if and when it will go.
