The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated today that both the US and China they agreed on the need to stabilize their relationship.

“I think it is clear that both sides agreed on the need to make an effort to stabilize the relationship, and we have found specific areas where dialogue and cooperation can benefit both of us as well as other countries around the world.”Blinken told reporters during a press conference in London.

The head of American diplomacy stated that Washington reportedly has ‘deep concerns’ about Chinese intelligence or military activities in Cuba, after the Wall Street Journal reported that Beijing was planning a new military training center there.

“I have made it very clear that we could have deep concerns about the intelligence services of the People’s Republic of China or military activities in Cuba,” Blinken told reporters. His comments came after visiting Beijing earlier this week.

“This is something we will be watching very, very closely and we are very clear about that. And we will protect our homeland, we will protect our interests.”
