Mitiarjuk Attasie Nappaaluk CM (1931–2007) was a Canadian Inuk writer. She was best known for Sanaaq, one of the first novels in the Inuktitut language.

Born in 1931 near Kangiqsujuaq, Quebec, her formal education began when she was 20 years old. She began writing her novel Sanaaq in the early 1950s when an Oblate missionary in the area asked her to write a few sentences in Inuktitut to learn the language.

Written in Inuktitut, the novel was only published in 1984, but quickly became a cultural touchstone in Inuit communities across the Canadian Arctic. A French translation of the novel was published in 2002 and an English version in 2014.

Nappaaluk also translated the Roman Catholic Prayer Book into Inuktitut and wrote several books on traditional language and culture that were used in Inuit schools. He served on the Nunavik Inuktitut Language Commission and was an advisor to the Kativik School Board. She was married to Naalak Nappaaluk, also a well-known supporter of Inuit cultural traditions.
