The president Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan, who expressed his support for the Russian leadership after the mutiny of the Wagner mercenary group, IFAX news agency reported citing Kremlin sources.

In his speech, the Russian president vowed to crush the “armed rebellion” of Yevgeny Prigozhin.

Iran supports also “the observance of law and order in the Russian Federation” and considers the latest events “an internal matter of Russia”.
