The headquarters of the command of Russia’s Southern Military District in Rostov was calm today and traffic had returned to its streets, Russian state news agency RIA reported today, after Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin and his mercenaries left the city.

In a video posted by the agency on the Telegram messaging app, which it said was taken in the city, a man can be seen sweeping on one street and cars driving on another.

Reuters was unable to independently verify this news.

Late yesterday, Saturday night, Prigozhin, the head of the Russian mercenary organization Wagner was seen leaving the Russian army general headquarters in Rostov, after the termination of the Wagner mutiny.
