A body was found today in the rubble of the building that collapsed six days ago in Parisfrom the powerful explosion that occurred last Wednesday in the Val-de-Grace district of the French capital.

This is the first recorded death from this disaster that left four seriously injured, according to a source.

Authorities are now trying to determine whether the body is that of a professor missing after the explosion of this building in the center of the capital, the causes of which remain unclear.

It is likely that it may belong to a 57-year-old woman, whose fate is unknown after the collapse of the building, as her place of work was also there.

Thanks to the timely intervention of approximately 270 firefighters with 70 vehicles, the fire that broke out was brought under control an hour and a half after its occurrence.

The explosion shattered the windows of buildings hundreds of meters away, injuring 54 people, most of them lightly.
