“Oh, two seconds won’t do anything,” the man reported after bending down to wash his hands in the water and while his friend had warned him of the dangers.
Shocking video captured the moment one shark bites one fisherman and pulls him overboard in the murky waters of Florida’s Everglades on Friday — seconds after he ignored his friend’s warning, according to a New York Post report

The terrifying incident unfolded after the man went to wash his hands in the water despite his friend warning him of the dangers.
“I wouldn’t put your hands in there,” says a person off camera.
“Oh, two seconds won’t do anything,” the man replies as he leans over the side of the boat and dips his left hand, then his right, into the water.
Almost immediately, a shark grabs the fisherman’s right arm and drags him headfirst into the water as the man screams, as seen in the video.
The shark frees him and the man tries to grab the boat with his injured hand, as captured on video.
“Catch him! Catch him! Catch him!” the friend screams in panic as another person on board yells, “Oh my God.”
The man returns to the boat with the help of his friends.
His friend who caught the attack on camera, Michael Russo, said the group quickly returned to the dock and park rangers helped the injured man.
The National Park Service said the man was airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel, Local 10 News reported.
The extent of the man’s injuries is unclear.
His friend uploaded the video in order to inform about the danger at the scene.
“Today was one of the scariest days on the water I’ve ever had,” he said. “Nick was washing his hands in the water and was immediately bitten by a large shark.”
