The wreckage was brought to the shores of Canada and will then be assessed by experts
Authorities have recovered the massive wreckage of the Titan submarine from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean after it ran aground.
The huge chunks of metal were unloaded from the Horizon Arctic ship at the Canadian Coast Guard wharf in St John’s, Newfoundland, on Wednesday morning.

They have just been retrieved they were quickly covered with large tarps before being lifted by cranes onto transport trucks to be assessed by experts.
This process took place ten days after the disappearance of the Titan during a tourist trip conducted by OceanGate Expeditions to the wreck of the Titanic.
Last Thursday it was revealed that the submarine had suffered a “catastrophic explosion” near the ocean floor, killing all five people on board.
The aim of the authorities now is to trace the causes that led to the subjugation of Titan to avoid similar accidents in the future.
