A Times article cites a source as saying that the British Prime Minister had refused to be isolated before being treated for Covid, despite the symptoms of the disease he had manifested.

The report states that Downing Street staff members had repeatedly expressed to Boris Johnson their concerns about the persistent cough he had for a week before finally being isolated on March 27, 2020.

The British leader reportedly dismissed those concerns by slapping his chest and saying “I am strong like a bull”.

“He had a really bad step but he was wandering around the office having meetings,” the newspaper source said.

Even when he was finally isolated, he is accused of not fully complying with the lockdown rules that came into force on March 23 and receiving updates from their associates in his office.

Mr. Johnson was finally admitted to the hospital on April 6, 2020, where he had to spend three days in an intensive care unit with a serious risk to his life.

Responding to the report, Downing Street said that “appropriate measures had been taken to ensure that the Prime Minister was isolated.”
