Fire broke out again last Sunday night in Ouagadougou, this time near the residence of Rock Marc Christian Cabore, the president of Burkina Faso, which is under increasingly frequent and bloody attacks by jihadist organizations and last night was met with riots in many armies.
According to testimonies of residents in the French Agency, a helicopter was also heard, which had all the lights off, flying in the area as the fires, initially intense, became more sporadic.
Almost simultaneously, residents also heard exchanges of heavy fire in two camps in the capital.
Armed men revolted Sunday at several bases, demanding the replacement of the military leadership and giving them the “appropriate means” to deal with the jihadists.
For many hours yesterday Sunday, protesters expressed their support for the insurgent military and, among other things, set up makeshift roadblocks in several main streets of the capital, before the police dispersed them, French Agency journalists found out.
