The deadly fires have killed at least 96 people so far
THE Dwayne Johnson (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) says it is devastated by the deadly fires in Hawaii.
The actor spoke about the deadly fires – which have killed at least 96 people so far – in a video he shared on Instagram.
“I’m completely devastated about this, and I know all of you are too”, Johnson said in the video. “Everything that I’ve seen unfold over the last few days, everything that continues to happen, hour by hour, minute by minute, it’s all heartbreaking.”
“Thank you guys all over the world for your love and support and your light, your prayers. Thank you for sending them to the Hawaiian Islands, the Hawaiian people”he continued.
Next, Johnson urged those wishing to donate to Hawaii to do so by clicking on a link to his website in his bio on the page.
The actor, who once resided in Hawaii, also captioned that the people of Maui have a strong faith.
He also tagged on Instagram the non-profit organization Hawaii Community Foundation, which has created the Maui Fund with the goal of to provide resources for disaster response and recovery.
