Russian air defense destroyed a Ukrainian drone in Moscow, without reporting casualties or serious material damage, announced the mayor of the capital of the Russian Federation in the early hours of the morning.

“During its attempt to reach Moscow, the anti-aircraft defense forces destroyed the drone. His corpse (…) fell in the area of ​​the exhibition center and did not cause significant damage to the building”, Sergei Sabianin announced, adding that based on the first information, there were no casualties.

Earlier, a reporter from the Reuters news agency reported that he heard a strong explosion near the “City” of Moscow, an area where several skyscrapers are rising in the capital of Russia, a few kilometers from the Kremlin.

The information that an attempted Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow was repelled was also announced via Telegram by the Russian Ministry of Defense, adding that after being hit by anti-aircraft defense, it “changed its course” and fell into an office building.
