Video of the wreckage of the plane that crashed earlier in Russia, killing the head of Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, is circulating online.

The footage shows the spot where the aircraft went down with the broken fuselage engulfed in flames.

The leader of the Russian paramilitary organization Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, who had called for a stand-off against Russia’s top military command and staged the failed coup against the Kremlin in June, is on the passenger list of the plane that crashed in Russia, Russian news agencies reported today.

According to the news agencies Ria Novosti, TASS and Interfax, citing the Russian Federal Aviation Service Rossaviatsia, the name of Yevgeny Prigozhin is included in the passenger list of the plane that had departed from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

Rescue crews earlier announced that all passengers on the plane were dead.

Ten people were killed when a private plane crashed in Russia’s Tver region, north of Moscow, the Russian news agency TASS reported today, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The news of his death was also shared by the state television channel Russia 24.

The Embraer aircraft, which had departed from Moscow to St. Petersburg, had seven passengers and a crew of three on board.

According to initial information, all those on board are dead, the Russian Ministry of Emergencies announced on Telegram.
