Donald Trump is scheduled to report to an Atlanta jail on Thursday to face charges related to his attempt to reverse his defeat in the 2020 electionsin the fourth criminal case facing the former president this year.

It is reminded that Trump is accused of conspiring to prevent the results of the 2020 presidential election from being certified.

It is unclear when Trump will arrive at the prison, which is famous for its squalid conditions that have inspired rap songs and for which the US Department of Justice has conducted an investigation.

Like other defendants in Atlanta, Trump will have to appear at the Fulton County Jail for fingerprinting and a photoa plan expected to be widely circulated by supporters and critics as part of his campaign to win back the White House in the November 2024 election.

The Republican former president faces 13 felony charges, including extortiony, who is routinely implicated in organized crime charges, for pressuring state officials to overturn his election loss to Democratic President Joe Biden.

Trump, 77, he has denied any wrongdoing and claims the case is politically motivated. He will not speak at this stage. He agreed to post $200,000 bail and he accepted bail conditions that prohibited him from threatening witnesses or his 18 co-defendants in the case.

Trump’s brief stay in jail comes a day after his rivals debated the 2024 Republican presidential nomination in Milwaukee. Trump did not participate and instead gave a taped interview to conservative commentator Tucker Carlson on Xthe platform formerly known as Twitter.
