Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian drone in the early hours of the morning, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sabianin announced via Telegram.

According to the mayor, according to the first information, there were no casualties or damage to the ground.

At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that two more Ukrainian UAVs were shot down in the border region of Bryansk (southwestern Russia).

The ministry said that yet another attempt by Kiev “to commit terrorist acts (…) with drones on the territory of the Russian Federation” was repelled, adding that according to initial information there were no casualties or damage.

Vnukova and Damadidava airfields and Zhukovsky military airfield were temporarily suspended for one more night due to Ukrainian remote-controlled drones. Flights resumed a short time later, Russian state news agency TASS reported, citing emergency services.

According to specialist air traffic monitoring websites, 46 flights were delayed or canceled in the early hours of today.
