Romanian territory was not hit by Russian drones or debris during a nighttime airstrike on a Ukrainian port across the Danube River, Romania’s foreign minister said today. Luminita Otobescu.

“Of course, there is a risk because what happened there is very close to our borders,” he told reporters on the sidelines of a visit to Berlin.

“We have seen how Russia continues to cynically attack civilian infrastructure, not allowing Ukraine to export its grain. Of course, there is a risk of accidents, but for now this was not the case”, he added.

For his part, Ukraine’s foreign minister said today that Kiev has photographic evidence proving that Russian drones struck Romanian territory during a nighttime airstrike on a Ukrainian port facility on the Danube.

The foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba made this comment to reporters after a press conference in Kyiv.
