“He was bleeding to death because he was afraid of going to jail. Who hurt him? We have no idea,” said Zoran Milanovic
Croatian President Zoran Milanovic appeared defiant and uninformed once again, in an incredible delirium during his visit to a small Croatian town.
In fact, he blamed the Greek government for the detention conditions of the Croatian hooligans of Dinamo Zagreb in prisons.
As he characteristically noted, he requested the mediation of the Croatian prime minister for better detention conditions, since for the Croatian president the water in the prisons is not potable. In fact, he went on to say the unthinkable that the unfortunate Michalis lost his life because he refused to be offered first aid.
Specifically, he said: “A Greek man died, apparently because he refused the first aid he would receive, but he didn’t want to because he was afraid of ending up in prison and this man was bleeding to death. Who hurt him? We have no idea.”
Zoran Milanovic’s provocative statements provoked her strong reaction of Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic-Radman who accused the Croatian president of lack of information and trying to make the work of state authorities difficult.
As he said, “The Croatian government is doing everything in its power to ensure that the Croatian citizens detained in Greece are safe so that the investigations are completed and those involved in criminal acts are deported to their homeland, while the president of the country puts endangered their situation by his conduct”
The political antagonism between the social democrat president Milanovic and the center-right government of his country holds well in view of the upcoming parliamentary elections next July in the country.
