Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 38 Shahid drones, the Ukrainian Air Force said today, adding that 26 of those aerial vehicles were destroyed.
“38 Shahid launches were recorded,” the Air Force wrote in a daily report posted on the Telegram platform, clarifying that Ukrainian air defenses destroyed 28 of these Iranian-made drones.
Moreover, the governor of the Odesa region announced today that a Russian airstrike during the night hit the Ukrainian grain export port of Ismail, injuring two people and damaging infrastructure.
A port building, storage facilities and more than 30 trucks and cars were damaged in the attack, which lasted more than two hours, governor Oleh Kiper wrote on the Telegram platform.
In a separate incident, a Russian missile also damaged a local business in the southern Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih today, Mayor Oleksandr Vilkul said. So far there is no information about casualties.
