An airstrike took place near the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, Sky News reports.

Operations at the crossing were partially disrupted by Israeli shelling on Monday, but Egyptian security sources said they were progressing normally early Tuesday.

According to the latest count, at least 770 Palestinians have been killed and more than 4,000 wounded by Israeli attacks since the armed incursion by the militant group Hamas on Saturday, the country’s health ministry confirmed.

In addition, at least another 18 people have been killed and more than 100 injured in the West Bank since Saturday.

Yesterday, it was announced that Gaza will be put under complete blockade without food, water and electricity.
