An alarm sounded in the Arras region of France. The police rushed to a high school in the area, where it was reported that man attacked with knife shouting “Allahu Akbar”as reported by AFP citing a police source.
The attack left one professor dead and two seriously injured. One of the wounded is security guardbearing many stab wounds, and the second is a high school teacheraccording to a police source.
French President Emmanuel Macron is on the spot, the Elysee announced. The French parliament suspended its work in solidarity with the victims.

The incident took place around 11am, at Gambetta high school in Arras.

According to BFM TV the arrested person is about 20 years old and possibly a former student at the schoolwhile his brother was also arrested.
The attack comes almost three years after the murder of Samuel Patiof the 47-year-old teacher who was beheaded on October 16, 2020 near his school in Conflans-Saint-Honorin in the Paris district, ten days after he showed his students sketches of Muhammad as part of a lesson on freedom of expression.
The 18-year-old killerRussian refugee of Chechen origin, he was killed by the police.
