The Palestinian Authority wants the International Criminal Court to investigate the deadly attack on the Gaza hospital, for which Israel and Hamas blame each other, its representative in France, Hala Abu Hasira, said today.

Although US President Joe Biden supported the Israeli version, according to which Islamic Jihad, another Palestinian armed group, was responsible for the attack, Abu Hasira had no doubts about who was responsible: “Israel is the sole responsible (…) It is not the first time that Israel targets political infrastructure and specific hospitals”, he emphasized.
At least 471 people were killed in the attack on the Ahli Arab hospital in the center of Gaza on Tuesday night.
Because “France has some credibility in the region, we expect it to take action to stop Israeli aggression, lift the blockade of Gaza and allow access for humanitarian aid,” added the Palestinian diplomat.
