A 55-year-old US man has been sentenced to 39 years in prison for murdering his wife in 2018 because she refused to appear on a home renovation TV show.

In April 2018, David Trounce brutally beat and then strangled 39-year-old Sandy at their home in Orlando, Florida.

According to law and crime, the reason was the refusal of Townes’ wife to appear on the reality show “Zombie House Renovations” in which the participants renovate houses.

“Trones had spent thousands of dollars on renovations and was hoping to be featured on the reality show. This led to problems in their marriage. Her refusal to appear on the show led Tronce to kill her,” the prosecutor said at the trial.

The court was told that during the renovations the couple slept separately with Tronce living in the garage and his wife in another area of ​​their home, where he killed the 39-year-old with whom they have a son.

He himself after the murder had tried to cover his tracks before the police arrived by telling the officers that he found his wife dead in the bathtub while he was busy with other household chores.

An autopsy on the body of 39-year-old Sandy showed that her body had injuries to her face and eyes.

According to law and crime, the 55-year-old did not appear remorseful for his act and was never moved by the death of his wife.
