Once again the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahuhe warned her powerful organization Hezbollah not to get involved in the conflict with Hamas underlining that the response given by the Israeli armed forces will be so strong that no one will be able to imagine it.

“If Hezbollah decides to go to war, it will lose the Second Lebanon War. She will make the mistake of her life. We will cripple her with such force that she cannot even imagine,” he said while wearing a bulletproof vest while addressing Israeli soldiers in the north of the country.

The escalation on the border between Lebanon and Israel and especially between the supported organization Hezbollah and the Israeli army remains while each passing day further escalates. Whether or not Hezbollah will get involved in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war remains a question (and nightmare).

For now the tension is under control although many countries are warning their citizens not to travel to Lebanon and if they are in the country to leave immediately. At the same time, residents are leaving their homes as Israel has ordered the evacuation of a total of 42 settlements on its northern border.

Hezbollah fought to the last against Israel in 2006. According to analysts, the power of the Shiite organization has increased significantly from what it possessed 17 years ago. This does not mean that in 2006 she was powerless. It’s just that, today, it’s possible that she’s stronger.

We could say that her arsenal has a…variety of weapons. These include guided missiles that can strike deep into Israeli territory as well as tens of thousands of well-trained and hardened members.

Its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, remains silent, but according to the British BBC network, he closely monitors the situation and talks regularly with the military leadership of the Shiite organization, which against the US – and not only – is terrorist.

For its part, the United States is strengthening its presence in the Middle East. In particular, as long as the clouds of the spread of the conflict begin to thicken dangerously, Washington, although it declares that, for its part, it seeks de-escalation, it also sends an anti-missile system and more Patriots.

The country’s foreign minister, Anthony Blinken, speaking to the American network CBS, emphasized that “we are concerned about the possibility that the organizations supported by Tehran will escalate their attacks against our personnel and against our people.” He made it clear that Washington does not want escalation, but added that “we expect there will probably be.”

For his part, the country’s defense minister, Lloyd Austin, underlined that “the United States will not hesitate to act” militarily against any “organization or country” that will try to expand the conflict and “take advantage of this extremely bad situation”. .

Earlier, the foreign minister of Iran, Amir-Abdollahian, had also joined the dance of declarations, stressing that “the region looks like a barrel full of gunpowder”. As he explained, addressing Washington, “if the United States and its local proxy, the Israeli regime, do not stop the crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip then anything can happen at any time and the region will out of control”.

And as Tehran threatens an uncontrollable escalation of the conflict, the US State Department issued a new directive on Sunday that US citizens should not travel to Iraq and ordered the removal of non-essential personnel from its embassy in Baghdad as well as of his consulate in Erbil.

At the same time, an Israeli tank hit, as noted by the Israeli army “by mistake”, an Egyptian position on the border of the two countries with Cairo speaking of “slightly injured” while Israeli operations are taking place inside the Gaza Strip with the Israeli army to confirm, early Sunday afternoon, the death of an Israeli soldier.

These operations are not equivalent to the land operation that everyone is talking about since the political green light to start it has not yet been given. They involve raids inside Hamas-controlled Gaza with the aim of “clearing” the area and gathering information about the hostages.
