Tayyip Erdogan asked “What else needs to happen in Gaza for the West to call for a ceasefire?”

He also said that “Western countries provide unconditional support to Israeli attacks instead of calling for restraint.” “The Israeli attack on Gaza went beyond self-defense” he said characteristically.
“Western countries do not invoke international law in Gaza, because the blood that is shed is the blood of Muslims” he argued.
“How many more children must die for the European Commission to call for a ceasefire? How many more bombs must fall on Gaza for the Security Council to take action?’ asked the Turkish president.
“In the eyes of Turkey, there is no difference between children from Gaza, Palestine, Israel, Syria,” he said, adding that Turkey will intensify its efforts together with Egypt to send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
