The ice hockey player met a gruesome death during the match when he was fatally struck by his opponent’s ice skate when it hit him in the neck during a phase of the match causing him to bleed profusely.
In the shocking video that is making the rounds on the internet, the athlete can be seen receiving the hard blow and then falling to the ground. Although he tries to get up, he can’t. A teammate rushes to his side and grabs him by the neck in an attempt to stop the bleeding.
The doctors immediately ran to give him first aid, but they failed to save him and after his transfer to the hospital, his death was announced.
