Matthew Perry was found unconscious by his personal assistant who called 911 (the US equivalent of 166).
In the TMZ audio document, the phrase “rescue 23”, meaning the local fire station, and the word “drowning”, the first clue as to the cause of death, are heard.
When emergency responders arrived at his home, they found Matthew Perry unconscious in the home’s hot tub.
So far, the cause of his death has not been released by the medical examiner.
The actor passed away on Saturday (28/10) night at the age of 54 spreading sadness to all who grew up with the series.

Other fans of the show have erected a makeshift memorial for Perry outside the building known as the ‘Friends’ building in New York.
Fans in the rain took photos and left flowers on the corner of the building seen in exterior shots of the popular series.
