German-Israeli Shani Louk, who was believed to be alive after being abducted by Hamas men, has been found dead in the music festival where the organization’s bloody attack unfolded.

Luke’s body was found on Monday and her sister, Adi, confirmed her death on Instagramsays the Jerusalem Post.

Luke appeared in footage released on the day of the attack. She was seen lying motionless in the back of a truck after being abducted and taken to Gaza.

In the video that was released it was not clear that she was alive, although her mother later stated that she was alive and in a hospital in Gaza.

The exact circumstances of the young woman’s death are still unclear, and there are no reports of where her body was found.

Luke was at the Supernova music festival on October 7when the Hamas men launched their attack, killing more than 260 civilians at the festival.

Luke’s boyfriend, Mexican national Orión Hernández Radoux, is also believed to have been kidnapped by Hamas in the attack. After the attack, texts in Arabic were sent from his phone, the Jerusalem Post reports.
