Hundreds of people called for the resignation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a demonstration outside his residence in Jerusalem, the newspaper reported today. The Times of Israel.

Police clashed with protesters during last night’s demonstration and arrested three people, according to the report. According to the police, the protesters tried to break the security cordon around the Prime Minister’s house.

Protesters called on Netanyahu to approve a swap deal for hostages held in the Gaza Strip, accusing him of being responsible for the failures that led to the October 7 massacre by Hamas militants.

Demonstrations against Netanyahu took place elsewhere. In its center Tel Aviv, thousands of people gathered in Hostage Square, as the spot is now known, to express their support for the families of the more than 240 hostages taken by Hamas.
