Donald Trump’s older sister has died at the age of 86. Marian Trump Barry. The former federal appeals court judge was found dead in her Upper East Side apartment in Manhattan on Monday, the New York Times reported. The cause of death of Trump’s sister is not yet known.

Barry had too take public office. Nine years older than the former president, she was appointed by President Bill Clinton federal judge in 1999.

She retired in 2019 due to an investigation into her alleged involvement in the Trump family’s tax and financial dealings. The investigation closed inconclusively when she resigned from her position.

In the last year of Trump’s tenure in the White House, he was heard in a private conversation speaking critically of the then US president, which had caused a rupture in their relations.

Three of the former president’s four siblings they are now dead. His younger brother Robert died in August 2020, aged 71, while Fred Trump Jr died of a heart attack in 1981 aged just 42.
